Hello Confidence Method
When anxiety pulls you into “what if…”, gently return to where you are right now.
When to use it
Try this method when:
Why it helps
Anxiety often pulls your attention into the future.
Your mind starts imagining what could go wrong, while your body reacts as if the danger is already happening.
This method gently brings your attention back to the present moment.
It doesn’t try to make your anxiety disappear.
Instead, it reminds your brain that, right now, you are here—not inside the story your anxiety is telling.
Try it now
Pause for a moment.
Take one slow, gentle breath.
Without trying to change anything, simply notice that you’re here.
Look around the room. Slowly name:
Take your time. There’s no need to rush.
Place both feet on the floor.
Take one more slow breath and quietly remind yourself:
“In this moment, I am safe enough to be here.”
Then gently return to whatever you were doing.
🌿 Remember This
Come back to the room.
Take This With You
Your mind may travel into the future.
Your body may react to imagined danger.
But this moment is always somewhere you can return to.
Sometimes the kindest thing you can do is simply notice where you are, take one slow breath, and come back to the room.
